Not at all, the M3 is a very small camera as it is

I like the Lowepro Apex out of the two
it has more storage space and all weather

i'm getting the kit with the camera that comes with a bag. but i'm thinking that the bag that comes with it is big. Do you know the dimension of the bag by any chance?
