Is the 70d or 6d a better upgrade from the Canon T2i and T4i?

Aaron A.
Greetings! I am Aaron & I see you're taking a look at a some great gear! Now, will this maybe for any special projects coming up? How can I assist? :-)
Will this work with my EF-S zooms?
Aaron A.
I would love to assist!
What kinda lens do you have? :-)
Or camera I should say
T2i and T4I's
Aaron A.
I am seeing from some of our consumers that it won't work with any EFS lenses...
55-250, 18-55 EF85 and 75*300
Aaron A.
..."it works fine with crop or full frame cameras, but not with EFS lens due to their mechanical interface."
The EF's are good then?
Aaron A.
Correct. A few other camera users says it will work with full frame or crop cameras. :-)
Thanks that helps a lot I am thinking of an upgrade to the 70D and maybe the 6D but I debating do I need to really go to the expense of Full-Frame?
Aaron A.
Truly depends! Would you say for project needs, a new camera full-frame would be of benefit going forward? :-)
Not really-the T2i and especially the T4I are my go to's when I shoot professionally but I was not wanting the expense of replacing lenes.
Aaron A.
Oh!
Understand!
In that case, I would upgrade, merely for the fact of more versatility and compatability with lenses.
Such as in this case.
:-)
With the APS-C I have that extra reach from the smaller sensor that is a benefit sports wise.
I generally crop in post anyway.
I mainly want the extra MP's for more quality.
Aaron A.
Absolutely! the mp is such the hugest factor! Particularly w/ myself because I'm a stickler w/ quality in every project situation
Did you have a brand you wanted to stay within?
And if you don't mind me asking, a budget set? :-)
Yes budget wise I recently retired, lens wise not to much they are all about the same now a days.
Aaron A.
I can see that!
So you would like some camera options correct? Full-frame I presume for sports?
:-)
I still like to string for the paper now and then but not restricted to sports. Another question for you. I have lots of manual Pentax K-mount/bayonet mount lenses from film shooting days any suggestions on what they might fit?
Aaron A.
Okay! Thanks! And did you have a price-range in mind?
Not sure I was looking at the Pentax K-1 maybe, somewhere in that area.
Aaron A.
I'll pull that up now
This camera's link and camera is amazing!
We've been going through them like crazy
Now, I haven't had the pleasure of using
However, I've seen the produced work(s) and they are phenomenal!!
And this amazing Bundle comes w/ Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 6 Software
:-)
Which is the same price right now for just the camera itself
:-)
