Hi! How are you? I noticed that you were looking at the Panasonic ZS40?
Did you have some questions about this camera today?
Looks like the camera I want (had two Canon G9 & 12 but they did not last). Am interested in zoom as I travel doing workshops all over. Confirm this is right camera plus what else do I need? What size chip plus maybe an extra battery?

Ok! This is a great camera, with an impressive 30x zoom
This camera needs an SD memory card
I can bring up the batter options as well :-)
Did you have a capacity in mind for the memory card? 16GB? 32GB?
Difference in price? 16 GB should be good because I always have a laptop with me. Assume easy to move jpgs to the laptop.

It's very easy to transfer photos. Let me bring up some memory card options!
Assume panasonic battery comes with this so a 3rd party should sufficient backup. Now back to memory cards.

Yes, it does include 1 Panasonic battery. I'd recommend the Green Extreme brand for a backup
I've found those to be the closest to the name brand
And it's half the price :-)
OK now looking at memory chip. Do I need to put all these things in the cart or can you do that?

Yes, it should stay open even if you click on the products to go to the page.
Just added the camera and now will try to add other items. Assume it comes with a charger to plug into electric plug.

It also includes the USB cable for transferring images.
Oh yes... that I will need. Everything is in my cart. Anythiing else I should add (I have a small bag I use for carrying cameras plus I wrap the camera in a coosey.

Yes... everything in the cart. Once I make the decision, I am decisive. What zbout repair or replace warranty? What comes with camera - a one year warranty?

The camera includes a 1 year warranty from Panasonic which covers anything mechanical that might go wrong with normal use
The drops and spills warranty would add coverage from accidental damage
So it's not a bad plan to have. They're a pretty great value if you wouldn't be able to replace the camera if something were to happen
So basically, I buy 2nd and 3rd year for $19 per year.

Well, you'd get 3 years of coverage from the purchase date
Panasonic won't cover any accidental damage. So that's where the drops and spills warranty would come in within the first year
I'm typing on a Lenovo with a 3 year warranty and will be getting my 4th machine. A long story short but I think you convinced me
