I have alwags used nikon slr s for all my work. But they are too heavy for travel

If I didn't have so much invested in Nikon, I'd go for the full frame Sony system.
I may try A 6000 then move up

that is a great camera!
$ 3200 is steep to start

it's very fast focusing
the only real downside to the Sony at this time, is the limited lens selection
but the new G master lenses do help with that
But for travel / street photography 1 lens would be ok
Love the Fuji X100T as well

Did you consider the NIkon DF?
with that, you'd still get excellent image quality, and it is a smaller, retro styled camera

Nikon rules the slr wodld but they don't concentrate on smaller cameras

the DL series looks pretty good, but for mirrorless, In my optiion, Sony is a lot ahead
