No need to say sorry. DSLR is a digital single lens reflex camera. It's a digitalized version of the old film cameras. They have large image sensors and use interchangeable lenses to capture images at all ranges and all different styles

Megapixel just increases the size you can print
if i want to print photos for frames what and all should i check on buying good camera

You want at least 18MP and you need to print at over 300DPI when you are editing them to save at that resolution

That is a editing and saving thing, you can get over 600DPI from the D300
