Hi there! I'm James. How are you? Are you looking for anything specific today?
I am looking for a transfer cable for an Elph 190 IS. I have an Apple laptop and can only download photos by cable.
James S.
Oh! Okay, give me one moment to pull something up for you!
Great!
James S.
No problem
James S.
It uses mini-USB connectivity, so this should do the job for you.
If not, you always have the option of using a card reader.
I actually recommend the card reader over using the USB option.
Why is that?
James S.
It's a bit safer for your camera and not all cameras will even connect to all Operating Systems for image transfer without special software.
Using a card reader simplifies the process and lets you do it a bit faster.
The GGI CR-3000 card reader supports multiple formats and costs about the same as the cable you were looking for.
I see. Is a card reader a slot you may find on your printer
James S.
Ah! Yes, some printers do have card readers but most aren't equipped to import the photos to the computer, mostly just for printing.
Have you tried that on yours?
Yes. So what is the cost of a card reader
James S.
That one is $12.95. Do you see the link?
No I haven't. I rarely print a photo.
James S.
Found it
Does it need a special cable?
James S.
It needs a USB cable, but it comes in the box.
What do you think?
Great I'll take one!
James S.
Awesome! Were you looking for anything else today?
No that's it but I would like to receive it before Wednesday if possible.
James S.
Okay. When you go to checkout, just select an upgraded form of shipping to ensure it. If you ever need anything else, we're always here.
:-)
Thanks again!
James S.
No, thank you! Take care.
