but we have an open box 70d with kit lens for just a bit more at 839
yea the kit lenses are not very good.
the take note section of the product listing says open box packaging?

yes.. open box may be a demo unit or a unit sold and the customer returned in like new condition.. has full mfx warranty
but do understand about kit lenses.. they work but better glass out there of course
and the body only comes with everything but the lens correct?
