Aaron A.
Greetings! I am Aaron & I see you're taking a look at a some great gear! Now, will this maybe for any special projects coming up? How can I assist? :-)
Hello
Yes, I am going to Alaska & need a versatile lens for my Nikon D90
It should also be able to take great sports shots too (non-professional ones)
Aaron A.
I would absolutely love to assist you with this today! :-) One moment while I pull up some specs and inventory for all info for reference as well. :-) One moment, here...
Or is it better to go with something like the Cyber Shot DSCRX10iii?
Aaron A.
I was just going to recommend a Cyber Shot! My best girl friend of mine actually uses this to video her trips and for office projects as well
:-)
hmm, I don't really want to video a lot.
Would like sharp images, a lot which my require a great zoom (wildlife).
Aaron A.
Oh, yeah! No, she does photography (and videography) w/ fashion brands here, locally.
So, when you mentioned that, it clicked haha
:-)
Makes sense.
So, what do you think: Sharp images, from a distance and unpredictable movement. That's what needs accomplished :-)
I should mention, no concerns really with low light, 20 hours of daylight.
Aaron A.
Absolutely! I'm gonna confirm about visual stability just to make sure because I think it has a great feature of stabilizing should there be any movement
:-)
Yes, very important too!
Aaron A.
Absolutely!
Double checking specs!
Okay!
So, I guess because of the type of sensors and build, the camera works phenomenal should there be any "movement."
:-)
Ok, I do notice price differences. Is that different levels of capabilities?
Aaron A.
To be exact, the camera is built with Optical SteadyShot image stabilization
:-)
Let me compare specs!
Ok, and I don't usually print greater than 8x10, so pixels are not a huge factor
I prefer sharp image, even with amazing zoom
Aaron A.
With this camera, if you pull up from other sites as well, It's forte is sharp images, clarity, longevity and of course, stabilization
:-)
Ok, so the differences in prices? are there different RX10s?
Aaron A.
Let me view those!
:-)
So, the one you're viewing, is previously owned...
I see...any warranty with it?
And I'm not sure this is the one
Another question, if I buy something, can it be delivered by Tues?
Aaron A.
Let me pull up warranty info for ya for used
:-)

Aaron A.
Camera :-)
haha
It really does seem easier to travel that way
Aaron A.
Absolutely!
Now, did ya maybe need a proper carrying case for easy access and toting or...? :-)
I don't know, I have a great camera bag now.
Aaron A.
No worries!
:-)
Are you good on storage on your end? :-)
Approximately 5 memory cards.
Depending on purchase, maybe battery
Aaron A.
No worries!
And I'm glad you carry a lot of memory. I'm the same.
I think these things need to start working with a "cloud." lol
haha yes! But then I'd have to figure that out :/
Riiight!
Aaron A.
And it's 10 bucks. :-)
That's cheap!
Aaron A.
Feel free to use this as a reference and easy access and your tray
:-)
or the link is here: http://www.adorama.com/ibypt5...
:-)
Let me check anther camera
Aaron A.
Sorry about that!
don't be sorry
Aaron A.
That's actually an ac/dc adapter
But how do I shrink the chat window and not disconnect now?
Aaron A.
You should be able to minimize
however,
if you simply click your ideas or even links,
it'll keep you in the chat
:-)
There used to be an arrow on the top of the chat box, it's gone.
I'm going to try to do a search on the website, hope it doesn't lose this window
Aaron A.
Absolutely! Take your time!
Hey, the arrow at the top is back
Aaron A.
That's the best battery available :-)
Thoughts between Sony & this Nikon?
Aaron A.
Honestly, Nikon steals the cake for me.
I love sony
And seeing the results is great!
however, I have a trust issue as far as longevity
But! Sony has changed over the years and I'm noticing they're starting to really lead the camera industry
We have so many individuals taking the leap w/ Sony every day
:-)
Hmmm... I'd say it's 50/50, but going based off my past years of experience ( and it goes back a little), Nikon always had the least wear and tear
:-)
Can I do a side by side compare between the two? I love Nikon, but I'm not afraid to venture to different options based on specs
Aaron A.
I understand :-)
I'm not 100% on the comparison
how to access it on the site is new for me
Let me see..
Wait, do I need optical or digital zoom to be higher for my trips?
Aaron A.
Digital since you'll be moving a lot
:-)
Well, these are 4x, with higher optical zooms
Aaron A.
Will you be doing anything that's too extreme in movement would you say?
Hiking, ziplining, and stalking wildlife, whale watching
I'm not sure I'm coordinated enough to zip line and take pics.
Aaron A.
With the build the Sony has, it will be okay in motion. Even at it's current setting w/ optics.
:-)
Oh! While researching this items info & specs in our inventory, I did make note and it's looking like we're actually reaching a limited supply in-stock...
I just thought I'd double check what's in stock for you & relay that info to ya!
Nikon P900 vs Sony RX10iii
What happens if I buy, but don't like it?
