So they're relatively comparable!

The Leica has a few extra features, including:
a larger lens aperture (f/1.7), a much larger sensor, built in wi-fi, the ability to shoot 4K video, the ability to manually focus the lens, a better screen, more pixels, a wider angle lens, a faster shutter, and higher extended ISO
So overall, you're getting a pretty large upgrade in image quality and features

The Leica includes a 3 year limited warranty from Leica
That basically covers any manufacturer defects only
We also have extended warranties available from New Leaf. Those include extended warranties and warranties that cover accidental damage

That's correct. The SKU is individual for each product and individual bundle. It's different from the manufacturer number
The SKU is how Adorama catalogs each individual product
Since that one is used, it needs a different SKU to distinguish it in our records

Which is not a dismissal of Leica's quality but the realization that many very successful professionals have done that with cameras that may have theoretically slightly inferior image quality. Out is a set of features that might be a greater hindrance to success.
Yes - and do you think that would be available? Lag is one of the most troubling characteristics of some smaller cameras.

Some screens flip, some just rotate a little. They have so many options now!
BTW, as a very young photographer I discovered that removing the pentaprism from a Nikon sometimes was very helpful in some instances. Like using a twin-lens reflex.

The rest of the world now shoots portraits with iPhones - and they are Oh, so thrilled with the results. Showing enough sharp background detail that you can determine which of the 50 states they are standing in.

As far as the most similar camera, in terms of price and image quality, you'd be looking at something like the Sony RX100 IV
Which is really a nice camera, but it doesn't stack up to the Leica
?Sony RX100 IV Similar form factor? If I could send a JPEG attachment, I'd show you a fine portrait done with that G11. of course the lead see to think that the Leica would probably cut the mustard, too.

It's just the most similar. The Leicas are really sort of in a league of their own though
