The lens that is included is the 18-55mm lens. It doesn't have an exact optical zoom amount, but it would be pretty close to 3x zoom if you were comparing it to a point and shoot camera
The dimensions are 5.1 x 3.9 x 3.07"
And the weight is 16.93 oz
Great thanks. I wanted more powerful zoom but don't want to spend too much and I'm a total beginner. What would you recommend?
If you want more zoom, you'll either need to get an additional lens, or you would need to go with a point and shoot camera

The Canon SX530 would be a great option within your budget
It's on sale for $279 and has 50x optical zoom
It has an auto mode in which you'd basically just need to push the shutter button :-)
What do you think about the Panasonic LUMIX DMC FZ70? My friend bought that one

How does it compare to the cannon
The Panasonic has a longer zoom and faster shooting. It also has a viewfinder. But the Canon focuses more quickly
The image quality is going to be very similar though
They're both great point and shoot options
