I have a Nikon D 80. I am interested in a Nikon camera that automatically sets the ISO when I set the aperature and shutter speed. What cameras do that? What is a Dx format camera?

A DX camera is a crop sensor camera. That simply means the sensor is smaller than a full frame, but they still take excellent photos.

The 7100 will do what you ask with the auto ISO and also use the lenses you currently have. It is well under the price point. I was given.
It is actually a really nice camera, I have that body myself. I use it as my backup camera.
