Hi! How are you? I noticed that you were looking at the Nikon D3300?
Did you have some questions about this camera today?
vr compared to dxvr-?
Courtney B
DX refers to the lens being compatible with DX/crop sensor cameras
VR is separate and refers to the lens having vibration reduction technology
is the d3300 full frame sensor or whatever the term is, which do you prefer and why
Courtney B
No, the D3300 is crop sensor/DX
FX/full frame cameras are the professional level cameras
The sensors are larger which results in better image quality
But it comes at a much higher price
OK. I've ben using an :-olympus om1 fo years. Can't get good batteries any more andnot satisfied with resulte of recommended replacement batteries. I'm probably nitpicking at something I can't see, but want the best combination of excellent images without spending a fortune. Suggestions?
Courtney B
Ok! Sure!
How much do you ideally want to spend?
under 1,000
Courtney B
Ok!
The Nikon D3300 would be a great option
Or the Nikon d5500
But it depends on how many lenses you'd want to invest in
Do you have an idea of how many lenses you'd like?
Customer Service email address: service@adorama.com.
The two cameras that I suggested come with those lenses though :-)
So either would be an excellent option
Thanks for your time and insight

You're very welcome!
