Hello, welcome to Adorama how are you today? My name is Jeff, how can I assist you?
I'm getting info on a drone to use w/ my Gopro Hero 4 silver
Jeff H.
Let me see what I can find for you, it appears the Dragon you're looking at already has a camera built into it.
What price range do we have to work with?
ok what do you ecommend?
I'm new at this, but would like something that is easy to use, has a reasonable battery life and good functionality at the best price possible.
Jeff H.
Something like this would work very well. It also includes the transmitter in a three axis gamble for your go Pro 4
That is the best price I am finding that also includes the transmitter.
Transmitter/controller
how big is it?
Jeff H.
Dimensions (LxHxW)12.8 x 11.4 x 12.8" (325.12 x 289.56 x 325.12mm)Weight45.9 oz (1.3kg)
That is to the dimensions.
The dimensions sorry for the typo
Here is one that is a little cheaper.
Does it have any programs like follow, circle, etc?
Jeff H.
This has smart mode for first time flyers, return to home function, and the ability to keep you within legal limits. But it does not have programs like you are looking for. Sadly those are in more expensive drones.
What would I need to go to to get some of that functionality?
Jeff H.
Drones like that typically run $800 – $1000. Or do not have the ability to use your go Pro but a camera included with the instead.
I hear that GoPro is comming out with a drone. Do you know anything about tat?
Jeff H.
Sadly I have not heard anything about that.
so in the $800 range, what do you recommend?
Jeff H.
I will need to check to see what's available, that is not a function I can search for. It may take a minute or two.

Something like this has control points that you can set up also has IntelliSense to keep it from running into objects.
sounds complicated
and big
Jeff H.
They tend to be, but a smaller drone is usually tossed about in the wind
OK, well I'm in the info gathering mode now, but will keep these in mind. Thanks for your time.
Jeff H.
You're very welcome, was there anything else I can assist you with?
Not right now, thanks.
