I have acquired a Tokina 35-105 Manual focus lens. Can I use an adapter ring to for my T3i.

looking like you'd have to change the mounting yourself
and you'd lose the ability to do manual focus with the prism.. many people on interwebs seem to discourage trying :-(
couldn't find a mount for tokina lens to canon in our store :/
were there any other items I could assist with?
