Hi! How are you? I noticed that you were looking at the Sony A6000?
Did you have some questions about this camera today?
Is there an adapter for sale for using a Tamaron lens
Courtney B
What mount is the Tamron lens?
Canon
Courtney B
Ok! Yes there are. Let me bring up your options
Do you want the lens to autofocus on the Sony?
Or is it ok if it only manually focuses?
I want to the camera and use my extra lens
Courtney B
Ok, yes. But do you prefer for the lens to autofocus? Those adapters are going to be much more expensive than the manual focus adapters
Auto focus Also does camera have lens view or simply screen live views?
Courtney B
What do you mean by lens view? Do you mean a viewfinder?
eye lens or screen
Courtney B
Ok. It has a viewfinder and a screen
You can use either
Excellent last question I need a camera with a quick on I shoot almost photo journalistically and need camera on ASAP not a slow miss the shot on style
Courtney B
Ok!
Is this better than canon m3?
Courtney B
Let me check the startup speeds of them both
Thank you soooo much I'll wait
Courtney B
Ok! No problelm
Here's one option
Great
Courtney B
There's also one from Metabones. I'll grab it too
Terrific now for the instant on A6000 vs M3?
Courtney B
Ok. Still trying to find those numbers
The Sony takes about 2.2 seconds from the time that you turn it on until it's ready to take a photo
The Canon is a bit faster
Is it considered ready to go or is there still lag time focus do you know
Courtney B
Well, that would be the time that it would take from the time you turned it on until it was ready for you to start taking a photo
So you would also need to add the tim that it took you to compose the photo, expose the photo, focus, etc
excellent
Courtney B
So unfortunately it's a bit slower than the Canon M3
so decision the A600 or the M3?
Courtney B
Both are excellent, but I prefer the image quality and the selection of lenses for the Sony A6000
You have really been a terrific help thank you sooo much
Courtney B
You're welcome!
I'm glad that I was able to help :-)
