Joao M.
Hi! I'm Joao, how are you? How can I help? Any questions on the Nikon?
Hi
I had a nikon D7100
Joao M.
ok cool
was planning to switch to D500 or D750
Joao M.
nice
need some inputs on that
Camera would primarily be used for
landscapes and night photography
so i need good low lights
so will use it for portraits
also
Joao M.
alright
well The D750 has a larger sensor and bigger pixels
ok
Joao M.
the D750 has 14% more pixels
it has a higher dynamic range
a better High ISO performance, perfect for low light
and also a 105% larger pixel area
ok
Joao M.
so in my opinion, the D750 is best for you
cool
what is a refurbished lens
and is it worth buying when the discount is 20%
Joao M.
yea totally worth it, all refurbished items will have been checked over by the manufacturer by hand, inspected very thoroughly, diagnosed, and calibrated by experienced technicians, and could therefore turn out to be more dependable than a new item - which will only have been checked by a process of systematic quality control protocol (ie by random sampling as it comes off the conveyor belt).
ok
Joao M.
yea
second thing
Joao M.
ok
can you suggest me some nice FX lens
Joao M.
for portraits?
for landscapes and portraits
Joao M.
ok
so a zoom lens
yes
Joao M.
alright
let me see what I can find
cool
Joao M.
just one moment
np thanks
is this a gooddeal
Joao M.
here's a list of the 18-200mm lenses for Nikon, that zoom range would be perfect for landscapes and portraits too
and yea, that's a pretty good deal! That's $419off
yup
18-200 whats the f range
i want something like f2.8 or faster
Joao M.
3.5-5.6 on those
that wont be good on low lights
Joao M.
yep, I just now noticed that
oops
hehhh
Np
i was thinking of buying the 70-200 VR
and 24-70mm f2.8
Joao M.
check this out
do you see it on here?
yes
this does not have VR
right
Joao M.
No, it doesn't
The VR is 1300$
Joao M.
looks like the cheapest option, with all those features would be this one:
which you were looking at before
The tamron one with VC is 1500$
70-200 f/2.8 DI VC
Joao M.
right, $1499
which out of the two is good
and does VR make that much difference
Joao M.
they are both really good, but the Nikon has a lot more good reviews though
ok
what about landscapes
i know the 20mm f1.8 is beautiful
Joao M.
that same lens has a great range, so it'll be great for landscapes too
although yea, a 20mm would be much better
did you want to get two separate lenses then?
yes
Joao M.
ah ok
they dont have a 24-200mm
with f2.8
Joao M.
no.... that would be pretty awesome though
if i want to save some money'
The lens we talked are really expensive
what lenses you use
Joao M.
I just use a 50mm and a 18-35mm
My thing is mostly pro audio though ;-)
ohh nice
Thanks for your inputs and help
Joao M.
alright, you're very welcome! if you have any other questions let us know ok? glad to help!
Have a good one!
