Put a point and shoot to a DSLR in my hand and I'm ready to shoot almost anything!

Hi, welcome to Adorama! My name is Cory. Do you have camera questions? Or how about questions on a lens? How can I help you today?
HI Cory, I am a real estate agent looking for a good camera to take pictures. Interior and exterior
Cory R.
Ok sure. Are you thinking DSLR or point and shoot?
DSLR, point and shoot I don't feel give me the best pictures
Cory R.
Sure. Any specific budget you are wanting to work with?
Ideally the least amount possible. .lol
I have been looking at the Canon EOS Rebel Ti
Cory R.
Ok, well in Canon, the t5 will do what you want, you want a good wide angle lens for real estate. The Ti is a very old camera and won't do well indoors in low lighting.
the T5 is a newer camera?
Cory R.
Yes, newer than the Ti
The Ti is one of the first rebels
that should have read the T6i
Cory R.
Oh ok, the T6i is a great camera, it's more expensive, but it is amazing. I was trying to stick to a lower budget than that for you.
is the T6i newer than the T5?
Cory R.
Yes it is
of the two which would you recommend and then what about the wide angle lens?
Cory R.
The t6i is going to be better overall, and wide angle, there are a bunch, let me see what we have in the lower budget options
what are your thoughts between f/2.8 and the one you just sent/
Cory R.
The 2.8 is better, it's just more expensive
I would like to have them look like a professional did them
Cory R.
So a 2.8 would be better yes
would the 2.8 give me that?
Cory R.
Yes
what do you have in that line?
Cory R.
Just a moment
what are the limitations on that last lens?
Cory R.
No zoom, but it's great wide angle and better light overall
so that last lens will give me the pro looking photos?
Cory R.
Yes
okay, thank you
Cory R.
You're welcome.
