Hi there! How are you? I'm James. Do you have any questions about cameras? Or how about questions pertaining to lenses? How can I help you today?
What's a good price for a typical macro lens?
James S.
Oh gosh, they range in price from a couple hundred to tens of thousands.
It really comes down to the lens itself (such as the range, aperture, et cetera). What do you need it for?
For an entry level photographer?
I just take photos for a hobby and sell them occasionally.
James S.
Yes, but what are you trying to photograph with a macro lens?
I might have an indicator as to what direction to take you in.
Nature
So the lighting would vary
James S.
Something as small as flowers, insects, or smaller?
Flowers
James S.
Okay. Did you have a budget in mind? I might be able to find you the best bang for your buck. What do you say?
Around 200$ to 1000$, but I'm flexible
James S.
Okay. What camera do you have? I want to make sure to pick the right mount!
I have a Nikon D7000
James S.
Okay, awesome. Give me just a minute.
Sure! Thanks for the help.
James S.
That's the first one!
I'll check it out! Thanks so much for the recomendation!

It's a 40mm, might be good for flowers and the like. Pretty decent price, too.
Anything for something smaller than flowers?
James S.
Something like this would be absolutely spectacular.
You could really get in on the flowers, too.
Without holding your camera right up to it.
Pretty pricy for my budget, but a definite contender
Thanks for the help, I will go and check these out.
James S.
Awesome.
