Michelle B
hi!
Are you shopping for a rain cover?
how can I help?
Do any really work?
Michelle B
what camera do you own?
D600 nikon
Michelle B
gotcha
what lens are you using?
or lenses?
14-24mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8, maybe others
Michelle B
sure so longer lenses.
let me see what I can find for you.
one moment
what do use?
Michelle B
let me check for you.
one moment
what is your budget? I have heard good things about lenscoat
there are also rain sleeves that are more like plastic covers.
do you have a preference?
Not sure what reasonable budget is? How much do you need to spend to protect equip but still use cammera
Michelle B
the plastic sleeves are under $20
if I were shooting in inclement weather, with your gear, I would get the LensCoat RainCoat pro
it covers everything but the lens
any experience with it? I think you need two if you use both wide and telephoto
Michelle B
let me check
I have used other lens coat products like their lens pouches
and I find them to be very well made
let me see if I can find a smaller version
you can try this one. It's made to cover up to 15 inches
for both camera / lens length
Or for the 70-200, try the large which covers up to 21 inches comebined length
I would get the large
it has a drawstring so you can use it for both leneses
lenses
Let me think about this.
Michelle B
this is what I'd pick for my own gear and I use a D700, and 70-200 2.8
sure
the cinch straps allow you to adjust it to fit both the 14-24 and the 70-200
What about wide angle? Supposedly these bunch up badly for wide angle
Michelle B
do you want a separate cover for that one, then? more suited to that length?
not sure what is best. I don't want two thanks bye
Michelle B
ok then I would get the large
it will cover both.
using the adjustable cinch straps
Thank you for chatting - come back if you have more questions, alright?
Have a good day!
