So no, the lens would not fit on its own

yes... the a6000's viewfinder is quite cumbersome
its for the right eye...

Ok. Unfortunately there isn't any solution to the viewfinder.
You'd either use the viewfinder or the screen to take photos
fisheye converter -- fitting in front of the lens
