Hi! How are you? I noticed that you were looking at the Yongnuo 50mm lens for Canon
Did you have some questions about this lens today?
No, but, I am looking at lens that I can use to do more dog photography. Do you have recommendations>
Courtney B
Absolutely!
Which camera do you use?
I use a Nikon D5200, and know that some don't fit with my camera. The lens I was looking at won't
Courtney B
That's correct
The Nikon 50mm f/1.8G would be the cheapest 50mm option for your camera
It's a fantastic lens!
But the Nikon 35mm f/1.8 DX lens is another great option for dog photography
Yes, some people that I know use it, and they really like it
Courtney B
The wider angle gives it sort of a fun distortion
But, the dog I take pictures of is not a sit down and take pictures kind of dog. He's a hound, and I was hoping to get some action shots
He's also kind of scared of the camera
Courtney B
Ok
So then maybe you want to be able to stand further away?
Which lenses do you have now?
I just have the kit lens, 18-55mm, currently, I've been making due with it for a long time
Courtney B
Ok!
And what do you want from a new lens that you don't get from that one?
I probably would like a longer zoom, and a larger aperture
Courtney B
Ok! Good to know :-)
Did you have a budget that you needed to stick with?
Not really
Courtney B
Alright! Let me bring up some suggestions then!
These would be my top recommendations http://www.adorama.com/l/Lens...
Thank you!

You're welcome!
