Hello! my name is Eric how can I help?
do you have a gimbal question?
I video customers out on ranches. There is the challenge of wind noise, voice pick up and being able to hold the camera without use of a tripod, and not shaking too much. Can you help?
Eric T.
Sure! lets start with the stabilization since you are already there.
The PilotFly is good for one handed use of the camera and the stabilizers work pretty well. did you have any misgivings about it?
No?!
Eric T.
Ok. it definitely comes as a recommendation from me.
Do you already have a boom with a Hairy Windshield?
sorry, no idea
Eric T.
Ok no problem.
Let me pull up a sample product we can look at
i am not a pro!
Eric T.
we get the opportunity to video customers and we have to be ready, no matter what the conditions
Eric T.
So for wind-noise the best way to deal with it is an external mic and a windshield designed like this one. how does that look?
I might be able to find a separate windshield if you already have a mic.
so does the person hold that or does it clip onto him?
Eric T.
You will need the attatchment kit to attatch it to the camera optimally
OK thanks for your help
Eric T.
sure. would you like me to grab a kit product to look at as well?
sure
Eric T.
That there is a kit that comes with a "softie" which is ok for wind
Depending on how much wind you may really need the hairy.
