Hi there! How are you? I'm James. Do you have any questions on pro video gear? Or how about questions pertaining to cameras? How can I help you today?
hi. I have a few questions. I need an affordable HD monitor with focus peaking, what would you recommend?
James S.
Let me take a look for you
ok thanks
James S.
When you say affordable, what general number are you basing that on?
between $120 - $300
James S.
Okay, great. I'll grab some for you. Give me a moment.
ok let me check them out
James S.
Absolutely. :-)
I also heard about the aperture VS 2, how does that stack up against these?
James S.
Give me a moment. We don't sell it so I don't have access to information about it readily available.
oh ok
James S.
By the looks of it, it's more expensive and has less impressive stats than even the cheapest option I've showed you here today. Though I have to admit, it is far more aesthetically pleasing.
so of the 3 you mentioned, which one would you recommend?
James S.
I'd personally go with the Came-TV
what do you have around the $300 range? I don't like how those look. I'm into designs
the aperture vs 2 looks great. I want something that also looks modern
James S.
When it comes to monitors with peaking focus I'm seeing a bit of a gap from $198 all the way up to $575
do the ones you showed earlier have hdmi out as well or only in?
I have the atomos ninja 2 but need something with a bigger screen for better focusing
James S.
I'll check
Inputs only except for the Came-TV 5", that has an HDMI output.
oh that's good but I'd like something like that with atleast 7"
James S.
Alright.
How odd!
I can't see the Aputure in my end but it looks like we do carry it on the site, it's simply backordered at this time.
