Hi! I'm Liz! How are you? I see you are interested in Professional Camcorders can I answer any questions for you?
hi I am looking for the best video camcorder for filming sports
Price below 2000
I use Sony Vegas Pro for editing
Elizabeth S.
Sure thing! What sports are you shooting?
Football, Soccer and Trap Shooting
The Camera would be used for a live feed for a high school football team
Elizabeth S.
Ok I would suggest the Canon XA30 Professional Camcorder With Pro Acessory Bundle.
Does that include a remote control?
Elizabeth S.
It does not have a remote control.
Is there any advantage to cameras with a 1"sensor
like the sony NX100
Elizabeth S.
I think a 1" sensor is great for that market: it neatly bridges the gaps between 1/2.3" sensors, with their limited performance in indoor conditions, and the higher performance, but also size and cost that come with APS-C. Maybe 1" is a better trade-off - it allows a smaller lens and the bigger zoom ratios without the package becoming too large.
So if my filming move indoor what would you recommend?
also the live video feed is under the lights at night
is the canon still the best option?
Elizabeth S.
Well it would be a toss up better Canon and Sony are you looking to have a remote?
I need a remote to control the zoom. especially for the live feed
Elizabeth S.
This Sony will do everything you need and it has the remote :-)
Do you see the item?
yes
Thank you for your help.
Elizabeth S.
You are welcome do you have any other questions?
I really prefer canon but you have helped tremendously
Thank you!
