Hi! Welcome to Adorama! How are you today? My name is Anne. How can I help you?
I want to connect a Cactus V5 receiver to a studio flash unit that uses an H connector (looks like 110v socket). Is there an item that will connect directly?
Anne A.
let me check
this is showing as an H connector
here is another option http://www.adorama.com/wnl8.h...
These would both require a separate flash in order to trigger the studio flashes. Nothing that will go direct from Cactus V5 to H?

just a minute
I am not showing anything like that
what strobes do you have?
Speedotron d-1000 with 4 bulbs. This is a really old unit. It fires when I short the H socket and reads 145v trigger voltage, which the Cactus is rated for. But the Cactus won't trigger it or continuously triggers it.
I guess I can try to make the optical adapter work.

what about something like this? www.adorama.com/wnssrjrn.html
that would eliminate the cactus
here's an IR receiver -
Could try that. Thank you.
