Question on
Metz mecablitz 36 AF-5 for Sony a6000 and Metz 26 af-1. Whic is best for my sony a 6000, pluses and minuses??

It will work fine for your Sony a6000 but you have to use a flash adapter for it. Otherwise the flash is great for all uses and easy to use. You can use it on camera or off camera with a tranceiver.

yes the a6000 requires a hot shoe adapter to use flashes on camera
or for a tranceiver
they have smaller hot shoes
the hot shoe on the camera a6000 is a little smaller than the dslr hot shoes
for the flashes to be compatible
you have to have a hot shoe adapter
so it will fit all of the flashes
So what flash can I use w/o adapter

you can't use any of them without the hot shoe adapter for the a6000
they won't fit without the adapter
Back to my first question, which of those two flashes would work best and have more uses??

I would say the Metz 36 AF-S
it is a better flash with higher output
and a good TTL system as well
for better light zoom

both will fill flash fine, but also a good main flash
