Do you have some questions about cameras? Or lenses?
i'm fine thank you! I'm just looking for an exposure setting meter for use with my Nikon D3100 that's not pricey.

Ok!
Let me see what we have for meters :-)
One minute
Here's another good option
I'd personally recommend the Sekonic over the Gossen
It offers more features and is a more reliable brand
Plus it's cheaper
Do you have any other questions? Or is there anything else I can help you with? I'm happy to help if there is!
L-308
You were looking at it above. For $167
L-308S?
Courtney B
Yes
thanks. I'll read info
Courtney B
Ok! You're welcome!
ok. It tells you the shutter &f stop readings by pointing at the subject? I'm not familiar with these. I'mm waatching photo course for beginners online.
Courtney B
You'd need to input the data that's most important between the f stop, shutter speed and ISO and the meter would tell you the appropriate setting for the ones that you didn't enter
For example, if you knew that you wanted to use f/2.8, you'd need to enter that and it would tell you the shutter and ISO
Or you could enter the shutter speed and it would tell you the others
That's all?
Courtney B
There are other features as well
But that's the basic premise of a meter
Is that what you wanted?
yes.
Courtney B
Ok!
Then this is a great choice!
ok. No more questions. Thank you!

You're welcome!
Have a great weekend :-)
