Anne A.
Hi! Welcome to Adorama! How are you today? My name is Anne. How can I help you?
HI! ARe you shopping for a trigger set?
I'm curious as to the difference between the YN-622ll and the YN-622
Anne A.
J will be usng them on a Nikon D750
Anne A.
ok - I use that same camera!
the II version has a 603-RX mode but let me check to see what it does - I never use that mode
Anne A.
the Nikon version YN622N II will now provide a more limited additional 603-RX communication mode. This mode allows RF-603 compatible transmitter units like the RF-603, RF-603 II, RF605, and YN560-TX, to simply fire the YN622N II receivers.
one more question - are they all tranceiver - transmitter and receiver?
Anne A.
the 622N TX is a transmitter only though
that is the one with the lcd screen
so when I buy a pair, I get one of each?
Anne A.
you can get a pair of the 622n's or you can get a set that has on TX and one 622N in it
I like the 622N TX on the camera because it's very easy to control the light's settings with it
and you can always add more 622N's if you want to use more lights
thanks for the info. while I have you - has your D750 ever frozen up on you?
Anne A.
yup. I finally removed the battery and that seemed to reboot the camera
Anne A.
oh no! Did it do it more than once?
Anne A.
If it does, I'd contact Nikon. I haven't heard of any "known issues" like that and hopefully it was just a fluke!
I tried to report it but their support site wasn't very friendly to me. II'll probably try again
Anne A.
thier support is kinda hit or miss. Definitely take the tech option if you call in. they are more knowledgeable there :-)
