you can use the R2 system, or you can get a hss receiver to use with the r1 that comes with this, but only for the Canon

that light has the r2 recevier built in so you'd only need the transmitter on the camera

with the manual version, you can use a bridge adapter to use th er2 system
let me check if it'll work with the sony
with that, you'll just need the Sony r2 transmitter on the camera and you can use the manual streaklight in HSS

you can use the bridge receiver for the manual flash

you do need the bridge receiver instead of the hotshoe receiver for the streaklight
The R1 that comes in the Flashpoint StreakLight 360 Ws Flash with Blast Power Pack does not allow for high speed sync, correct?

I use a manual streaklight with the r2 -
the only functionality you lose is the test button
for some reason it doesn't fire a test light from the transmitter with the r2 bridge receiver

A clip for the battery pack?

there is a clip that is sold
the pack comes with a shoulder strap you can use to hang it on the stand, or I use a zip tie
